So you've decided you'd like an Irish Setter puppy/dog!
Please take some time to browse the information section of my website if you haven't already, it will answer many of the commonly asked questions about this breed and how I raise my puppies.
Once you’ve decided you want a puppy, feel free to contact me and fill out a puppy placement questionnaire. I will use this information to help determine if a Shakarri puppy/dog is right for you and which puppy/dog will fit best in your home.
Please keep in mind that these are living animals we are talking about, therefor...
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time!
Once you have been approved to purchase a puppy I will place you on my mailing list to be notified of upcoming litters and individual puppies that I feel would be a good fit in your home and lifestyle. No holding fees will be accepted on unborn puppies. By placing a holding fee on a puppy younger than 8 weeks you are securing your place in line for a puppy but individual puppies will not be reserved until they have been evaluated. I continually strive to improve my breeding program and the breed as a whole, therefor ethical breeders get first priority.
How to pay for your puppy:
I accept Paypal, Money Order, Check, or Cash for the reservation fee
Remaining balance must be paid at the time of pick up and may only be paid in Cash or Money Order
How will your puppy get to you?
I always welcome and encourage my buyers to come pick up their puppy in person! I do understand that some buyers live far away and do offer personal delivery options, cost will vary by location but is approximately $0.60 per loaded mile plus tolls.
Your puppy will be available for pick up no earlier than 10 weeks of age.
If you have an interest in breeding....
Yes, I will work with people interested in breeding but be prepared to speak with me frequently and undergo a more thorough screening process. I place the health and well being of this breed and my dogs above all else and will decline inquiries whose focus does not match well with mine.
